Are you happy with the sub for movies? I have heard the voice clarity on the Klipsch is great (which is high on my list of requirements), but I also want a system with a wireless sub that performs well. So many of the stock systems I have looked at are pretty wimpy when it comes to that aspect.
Voice clarity was the priority and the reason i wanted to upgrade from the free (but nice ) Samsung soundbar that came with the tv. I watch a ton of movies and voice clarity is critical. This soundbar delivers a very detailed and realistic sounding voice.
As time went on the blend between soundbar and mid-bass frequency has definitely improved.
The bass itself can deliver a whollop! No, it doesnt have the gutteral rib shaking feel of 18hz BUT..it definitely brings more than respectable thump to my room which is 13 x 24. I think i have my sub set at the mid point. I havent really set out yet to challenge it but i know it will bring way more thump than i even demand from it.
I was in best Buy today picking up 'The Martian' and playing around the soundbar selection display, about 8 different bars were on the switcher: the people with me thought the Klipsch was the best of the bunch easily and that was before I told them i had one.![Klipsch Klipsch](/uploads/1/2/4/7/124712187/149301028.jpg)

I just installed a new Klipsch R-10b soundbar.
First impressions: very detailed and clear. The 3d mode definitely delivered a cacophony of ambience, depth and detail while watching 'The Walking Dead'.
I have a hunch I'll program my HarmonyOne to control it.
The base is tight and strong when needed, not boomy at low or moderate level. I have it set at 2/3 right now.
Does anyone have input on this piece of gear?

I have had the same R-10B for about two months now.
I am by no means an audiophile and am tone deaf to no end so decent sound is usually lost on me. BUT lol. I would say my one issue is I have a fairly large den.. 30x25 and yes the sound is very directional where as in my old system which was simulated 3D I felt more the sound came from AROUND me where I can tell very much this comes from the TV.
My Harmony one paired great to it. Well OK.. not great. OK here is the story.
I did have a setup issue with this sound bar. The Subwoofer (which runs off 2.4 range) kept dropping off which required powering off of both sound bar and woofer. This occurred a lot. Well being an IT guy buy trade I began to think my router was causing the issue being it was 2.4 as well. Apparently it was. My Apple time capsule/router was interfering badly. I called Klipsch who said yes anything 2.4 can affect this device and suggested I get a 5ghz router if possible. When unplugging the router yes the sub would stay connected. So I went about trying to disable the 2.4 radio on the Apple router since it is both 2.4 and 5 range. Unfortunately the Apple router does not allow this nor does it allow any hard setting of the channel on the 2.4 range THANK YOU VERY MUCH APPLE. So off to Fry's to get a new router. First one I got was an Asus 2.4/5 and Once again you could not disable the 2.4 once I got into the setup. So took it back and got a 5 ONLY router. Thought I was smart lol. Got home. Swapped everything over to 5.. EXCEPT the harmony of course since it only works on 2.4. So yeah. 2.4 killed the sub and lack of 2.4 killed the Harmony.. UGH!
I eventually found a engenius router (never heard of them before) that was 2.4 and 5 and was just going to try to hard set the 2.4 channel in a hail marry attempt to get everything working. Which even without setting the 2.4 manually just leaving it to auto everything worked great. The soundbar the sub the harmony. So yes in the end some routers or anything 2.4 can cause problems with this wireless sub and apparently Apple routers are on that list of problem makers.
But all is working now and I am pleasantly pleased with the sound and aesthetics of this device.
Sorry for the ramble =P
Enjoy!

Day 3 with my R-10B; Yea, It's a keeper. The dialogue is uber clear, the soundtracks of all type are very detailed. I prefer the unit without the 3D mode. HarmonyOne has been updated with the new device and the Klipsch was assigned audio duties for all activities.

9 months in with this soundbar; I like it more now than ever. Sound quality, depth and detail has improved with time. Just when i get an urge to 'clutter' my room again with a 5.1 system the Klipsch delivers the goods and puts to rest any thoughts. My only concerns are will my next provider or universal remote program and control it.

Airplay 2 Update
I have 3 G-17’s around my house and love the sound - I think I speak for everyone that we would appreciate an AirPlay 2 update as well as a fix for the constant connection dropping issue
Personally, I wish there was less grafitti on the top.Total install, adjustment, and testing time was about 1 hour.-VSport United-TheGeekFreek. 5/5 John Reynolds 10th Mar 2016 Just as advertisedWorks just as advertised. Had a TurboXS manual boost controller before and was not half of what the GrimmSpeed boost controller is. Mac boost controller manual. The MBC feels solid, device is annodized, not painted which is nice.
Firmware update needed
How about a firmware update to support Airplay 2?
Maybe make the product work properly with iOS again so we don’t have to deal with dropped connections just to connect!

Good but could be great!
This app is easy to set up and easy to use. Very convenient for streaming music from many sources. The unsightly wires Are now gone from my house.
HOWEVER, I currently have four klipsch g 17 speakers and cannot stream music to more than one at a time using an iPod or ipad! I can only stream to multiple units using a laptop as the source.
I am a DJ and this is a huuuugeee problem. I have the idj pro which uses the ipad as the music source and to be able to use ALL my speakers wirelessly at a party would take a lot of weight off my equipment.
This is the only flaw I see..but to me..it is HUGE one.
